This policy applies to Red Seal Canada Welder Prep for Windows and mobile, published by 2160209 Alberta Ltd., operating as Red Seal Canada. The mobile app’s Android package and iOS bundle identifier are com.redsealcanada.welder.
Windows study data
The Windows app stores answers, practice progress and timed-exam history locally, separately from other Red Seal Canada editions. It does not require an account or transmit study data to us. No advertising, analytics or cloud synchronization is included.
Open Progress and choose Reset progress to clear answers, current sessions, exam history and backup progress. To remove all Windows app data, close the app and delete its separate data folder: %APPDATA%\RedSealCanada\welder-desktop. Deleting the portable executable alone does not clear this folder. Your own device backups are separate; we cannot restore local progress.
The Windows exam-outline screen displays reference addresses as text. It does not connect to those websites. If you visit a reference in your browser, that website’s privacy policy applies.
Mobile study data stays on your device
The app saves practice results, completed sessions, scores, progress statistics, flagged questions, study streaks and self-check ratings in local device storage. It uses a local study profile to associate this information with your progress. You do not need to create an online account.
The app does not transmit your study history or self-check ratings to us. It does not include advertising, developer-operated analytics or cloud synchronization. We do not sell your study data or use it for advertising.
Clearing mobile app data
In the app, open Settings and choose Clear practice history to remove recorded answers and completed practice sessions. This control does not clear self-check ratings, flagged questions or study streaks.
To remove all locally stored app data, use your device's app-data controls where available or delete the app. Device backups and restores are managed by your operating system and account settings; deleting the app does not necessarily remove a separately stored backup. We cannot access or restore your local study history.
Windows purchases
Lemon Squeezy handles website checkout and digital-file delivery under its payment and privacy policies. Payment happens outside the Windows app, which does not ask for payment-card details. We may receive order and contact information associated with your purchase to provide delivery and support. If you contact us, share your order number rather than payment-card details.
App store purchases
Apple or Google handles purchases made through its store under its own privacy and payment policies. The app does not ask for payment-card details. If you contact us about a purchase, we may receive the order information you choose to share so we can assist you.
Mobile official resources and external websites
The app's Outline tab includes links to official Red Seal resources. Opening an external link connects your browser or another app to that website. Its operator handles information according to its own privacy policy; those websites are separate from this app.
Support and privacy requests
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you provide. We use that information to respond, investigate reported issues and maintain necessary support records. Our email service providers process messages for us. We keep support information only as needed for these purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
