This privacy policy applies to Red Seal Canada websites, Windows and mobile apps operated by 2160209 Alberta Ltd., operating as Red Seal Canada and Vazquez Company, including PipeFitter Pro Paid on Google Play.

Red Seal Canada collects the information people choose to submit through contact forms, email, and product or pilot inquiries. This may include name, email address, organization, role, trade interest, candidate count, timeline, and message content.

Website accounts

Creating a website account is optional. Netlify processes your email address, account identifier, password and confirmation or recovery requests to provide sign-in. Authentication also uses necessary session cookies and browser storage. Netlify may process technical connection and security information as part of hosting and authentication. See Netlify's privacy policy.

After sign-in, you can optionally save your first name and trade. We use these details to maintain your profile and understand which trade programs customers are interested in. These fields are not required to use your account. Your profile and preference history are stored with our website host and are accessible through your authenticated account and to authorized business administrators.

Product news and offers are a separate, optional choice, turned off by default. We record your choice, when it changes and the version of the privacy notice. You can withdraw this choice in My account by clearing the checkbox and saving. Necessary confirmation, recovery and security emails are separate from marketing.

Your website account does not currently collect or synchronize answers, mock-exam results or study progress from the mobile or Windows apps. It does not automatically combine Apple, Google or Lemon Squeezy accounts. The website purchases link opens Lemon Squeezy, which verifies the email used at checkout.

We keep account and profile information while providing your account. You can remove optional profile details and change email preferences yourself. To request access, correction or account deletion, contact admin@redsealcanada.com. We will verify the request before disclosing or deleting account data. Purchase, security or legal records may need to be retained separately; service-provider backups follow their retention procedures.

Windows app and purchase data

Red Seal Study for Windows version 0.1.0 stores study progress, answers and exam results locally on your computer. The desktop app does not send this study data to us and does not provide cloud sync. Its Reset Progress control clears its primary and backup study progress after confirmation.

Windows purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Checkout and delivery use purchase information such as your email address, billing details and order information. We can use order and support information to assist with downloads, purchase inquiries and refunds. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for its handling of checkout data.

Website AI product help

The optional product-help chat is powered by CustomGPT. It connects to CustomGPT when you choose Start AI chat. Your messages and associated service data are processed by that provider to generate responses and may be stored in conversation records available to us for support and service improvement. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, license keys or other sensitive information. You can email sales@redsealcanada.com instead. Mobile app data

PipeFitter Pro Paid is an exam preparation app for Steamfitter/Pipefitter Red Seal practice. The app may store practice progress, quiz answers, scores, and app settings on the user's device to support study features. Red Seal Canada does not sell this information.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to inquiries, evaluate pilot fit, improve Red Seal Canada products and services, and manage business operations.

Form handling

Website forms and email may be processed through trusted business service providers used by Red Seal Canada.

Analytics

Red Seal Canada may add privacy-conscious analytics in the future to understand page visits, form submissions, and product interest. Analytics should be configured to support business decisions without collecting unnecessary personal information.

Sharing

Red Seal Canada does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website, email, storage, analytics, or business systems.
